As I make my way through the Oscar-nominated films, The Sessions is another “should-see.” It is fascinating and intriguing. You’ve probably seen John Hawkes in other movies, and he has been in at least one of my favorites. He does spectacular work here, and I have a feeling there are some major award nominations in store for him one day. Kudos also to a very courageous performance by Helen Hunt, and William H. Macy as a priest with a very quirky and interesting other side.
